Ruslan and Ala from Moldova know what it’s like to support a family through extremely hard times. Ruslan’s job pays him $12 per day. If Ala went to the grocery store to buy milk for the children, she would pay $4.50 a gallon, which means a part of their income would be spent on milk alone.

When Ruslan and Ala received a food parcel through the Adopt-A-Family program, Ruslan said, “The food products in the parcel which we receive . . . are an enormous help!
