Many church leaders in Liberia, Africa, preach to their congregations but have limited opportunities to receive sound Biblical teaching themselves. This lack of teaching and Christian discipleship weakens the Liberian churches.
Thirty-seven-year-old Lee joined seven other students at the Liberia Biblical Discipleship Center for six three-week terms. In these series, they were taught about steps to the transformed life, moral purity, marriage, child training, nonresistance, sermon preparation, and much more. “It is a great opportunity and blessing . . .” says Lee. “I am grateful to God for the many lessons learned . . .”
The impact of these teachings cannot be measured. Pray that God would use the Biblical Discipleship Center to help build strong churches in Liberia.
