Many church leaders in Liberia lack sufficient Biblical training, making it difficult for them to provide sound teaching for their congregations. Pastor David shared how the lessons he studied at the Biblical Discipleship
Center have opened his eyes to important truths. “In this series I learned how to forgive, even if the offender is not willing to reconcile with me,” David said. “I had a serious struggle with that; I even intended to jail a man who stole $200 from my house while installing electricity. But from the teaching ‘forgiveness can be done by one party while reconciliation is done by two,’ I personally decided to forgive him.”
