The religious landscape of the United States continues to change. Pew Research Center conducted telephone surveys in 2018 and 2019. Their research found that 65 percent of American adults describe themselves as Christians. This has dropped 12 percent over the past decade.
Meanwhile, those who claim to be religiously unaffiliated make up 26 percent of adults in America. This has increased 17 percent over the past decade. The religiously unaffiliated, also known as “nones,” consist of people who describe themselves as atheist, agnostic, or “nothing in particular.”
Many Americans are growing up with little or no exposure to God and His ways. As they identify with the “nones,” they face life confused, without the reference point of God’s truth.
CAM’s Gospel billboards help point the “nones” and other Americans to absolute truth that can give them direction and purpose. Our prayer is that the sound Gospel messages will encourage them to identify with Jesus and His ways.
