A 7.4 magnitude earthquake shook Colombia on Monday, August 10, 2026. The force of the quake, the strongest the South American country has seen in decades, flattened buildings and trapped thousands of people under tons of rubble. Hundreds are killed. Thousands more are injured and displaced. Rescue workers and civilians spent many frantic hours trying to rescue people from layers of wreckage. Adding to the fight for life; recent heavy rains have made conditions more desperate. Diseases run rampant in contaminated rain water.

In the midst of this rubble, fear, and uncertainty, is an opportunity to share the love of Jesus. At this time, we are providing mattresses, blankets, sheet sets, and Bibles. Our prayer is that physical aid will reveal the greater gift of God’s love to the people of Colombia.
