The terrifying winds of Hurricane Helene toppled a tree onto Jordan’s* house, crushing the roof and window of his bathroom and ripping the power line attached to the house.
Since the storm in 2024, Jordan has had no electricity in his home. When a CAM staff member met Jordan several months ago, it was obvious he was discouraged. Even when the staff member assured Jordan that the Disaster Response team would work on his house, he could hardly believe it.
The day Jordan’s house renovations were completed, he observed them in amazement. Jordan told one of the volunteers, “If there’s anybody that does not believe there’s a God, I’m going to show them the roof of my house and what took place here.” God brought people into Jordan’s life to restore his faith and hope in God.
