Heavy rains caused the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet in 45 minutes early Friday morning, flooding the river and causing massive amounts of damage. Some parts of central Texas received 15 inches of rain in 48 hours. As of Sunday evening, 82 people have been confirmed dead, and at least 41 more people are missing.
The Texas Rapid Response team is doing research on the flooding in the Kerrville area. Several members of the Oklahoma and Missouri Search & Rescue teams are traveling to central Texas to assist in the search for those missing due to the flooding.
Please pray for this community devastated by much loss and suffering. Pray for open doors as the team responds in this time of need.
