Many trees in Haiti have been chopped down for a quick cash crop, leaving the land barren and prone to soil erosion. Haiti needs trees to help stabilize the soil, reforest the land, and provide food. CAM starts many kinds of trees in a small nursery at La Source, Haiti. Once ready to transplant, the trees are passed on to needy families with teaching on how to care for them. Little by little, these trees help reforest Haiti.
