Teaching Haiti’s young generation

Many Haitian parents wonder if they will have the funds to send their children to school this term. They earnestly desire for their sons and daughters to learn how to read and write. But poverty prevents many parents from paying school tuition and buying supplies.

CAM’s Haiti School Program provides an opportunity for more than 9,000 Haitian children to attend school. The students receive new textbooks, pencils, and notebooks. They also receive a hot meal of rice and beans at school each day. This meal is a special treat to many Haitian children who do not have the option of eating breakfast before school. This program also helps to provide teachers’ pay, which enables schools to hire quality teachers for the young students.

Thank you, supporters, for providing a place for Haitian children to learn while being influenced by Christian teaching! Your support impacts the future of Haiti.
