A donor advised fund is a way you can make anonymous, tax-deductible gifts to your local church, Christian Aid Ministries, and other charities of your choice. You can contribute to the fund as frequently as you like, and then recommend dispersal to charities you wish to support. Here is how it works:
- You can gift non-cash assets or cash to CAM Foundation.
- The funds or proceeds from the sale of the assets are placed in your donor advised fund.
- In most cases, you will receive immediate tax benefits. When appreciated real estate is donated, you may eliminate or reduce capital gains tax.
- You can then advise the distribution of the funds over a period of time. Maybe you wish to give anonymously to your church, or would like to provide Bibles or aid through CAM programs. Or maybe you wish to support another approved charity. All of this can be accomplished by using your donor advised fund.
