Alice’s smile lights the dismal world around her. Her handicap has kept her from walking, but it does not keep her from smiling.
She was born a healthy child in June 1991 in Kenya. But when she was still quite young, Alice’s parents discovered her legs were very weak, and she could not stand properly. They took her to a hospital, and the doctor performed a surgery, but it was not successful.
Alice used to crawl from place to place before receiving her first wheelchair. Thanks to CAM supporters, Alice received a wheelchair to replace the worn-out chair she had been using. Alice’s mom had a stroke and is partially paralyzed, so CAM is helping her with medicines and doctor visits. The family prays for CAM because of the help they received.
