House for a Poor Family
For many people in Liberia and Haiti, waking up to rain-soaked clothes and bedding isn’t uncommon during rainy season. Many families in cold-climate countries like Ukraine face winter without sufficient shelter, exposing them to low temperatures and bitter winds. Sometimes our staff members encounter a handicapped person living alone in deplorable
conditions or an elderly woman calling a collapsing house “home.” This program helps provide a more stable, secure house. Funds may be used toward purchasing, building, or repairing a house.
Your donation helps purchase, build, or repair a house for people living in deplorable conditions. The average cost for a warm-climate house is $4,600, and the average cost for a cold-climate house is $8,000.
