A major flood swept through northeast Afghanistan in late August, killing more than 100 people and destroying more than 1,500 homes. Many people in this Central Asian country lost everything, including family members. Distressed people searched through debris and mud to find the bodies of their loved ones.

As a way of reaching out to those devastated by this disaster, CAM is providing drinking water, food, tents, clothing, medical supplies, and other aid. Please pray for our contacts as they reach out with the love of Jesus to the people affected by this flood.
