The Republic of Sudan was once one of the world’s most restricted countries. It has a tangled history of violence and strong Islamic oppression. Since 1983, civil war, famine, poor healthcare, and starvation have taken the lives of nearly two million people.
The government of Sudan was overthrown in 2019 and a new government rose to power. Now, Sudanese believers have more freedom. Recently God opened a door for CAM contacts to work alongside these believers to provide medical care and food to their impoverished neighbors. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the compassion of Christ to those so desperately in need of help and hope.
