In isolated and impoverished villages across the Holy Land, residents are often illiterate and live in conditions barely suitable for survival. Many have never heard about Christ.

CAM’s International-Feed-A-Family program creates opportunity to bless these people with food while showing them God’s mercy. The program provides packages of flour, salt, hummus, oil, and other essentials for families most vulnerable to hunger and poverty. Most of these are Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In the West Bank, the unemployment rate is about 26 percent. In Gaza, it is about 41 percent. People in these areas are often discouraged and desperate for hope.

Our staff’s visits can encourage the recipients as much as the food. In Middle Eastern culture, it is customary to offer coffee or tea to visitors. This opens doors for our staff to interact with recipients and show them that someone cares about them. Sometimes recipients ask staff to pray for them.

People in the Holy Land need hope. We appreciate your help to extend a hand of mercy to those in need.

“I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble.” Psalm 31:7
