Costica is nearly 85 years old and lives in a small village in the northeastern corner of Romania. Rolling hills of black soil surround his adobe house, but due to various ailments, he is unable to work in the fields to provide a living for himself. Instead, most of his time is spent in bed. Costica receives a small pension every month, but it is barely enough to cover his basic needs.
Milk is a luxury Costica is not able to afford. But every week, he receives three liters of milk provided through the Milk for Many Mouths program. He is always grateful for it and calls it “manna from heaven.”
While funding from generous supporters provides milk for needy Romanians like Costica, it also offers a unique opportunity to share the Gospel with recipients on a regular basis.
