Myanmar Earthquake
A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar early Friday morning, March 28, 2025, collapsing buildings and leaving dramatic destruction. It was followed by a 6.4 magnitude aftershock. Parts of Myanmar declared a state of emergency as rescue workers began searching for people in the rubble. CAM staff are working with contacts in the region to identify the greatest needs and provide emergency aid to those suffering from the earthquake.
