Enabling South Sudan Children to Attend School

SSSAC 1A new school year is beginning! Did you know that many adults and children in various countries cannot read or write? Many children in South Sudan and other places only dream about going to school. Often, their parents can’t afford it, or there is no school nearby. Supporters, thank you for helping to break the cycle of poverty by enabling children to attend school!

Sabila, the girl pictured, is a helpful, talkative student from South Sudan. She said, “I am happy that they are teaching us how to write, because I can go home and show my family everything I have learned. I even made new friends here!”
