Milan needed to get off the interstate at an exit because of an accident ahead of him. This detour forced him to drive past some immoral places he had frequented years before. The temptation to stop was real as Milan drove past these places.
Then Milan’s attention was riveted on a billboard that read, Lust drags you down to hell. Seeing this billboard jolted Milan out of the temptation to sin and he chose to continue driving.
Milan called our billboard number and confessed his temptation as he referenced 1 John 1:9. He told our phone team member that he had become a Christian but was still tempted at times to stop at these stores.
Our team member quoted, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
“Thank you for taking my call,” Milan said after they had prayed together. “You all are doing a great job.”
