This is the small congregation of Nan Kare Mennonite Church, located in a village in northwest Haiti. The church was started with the support and oversight of its sister church, La Source Mennonite.
The Nan Kare and La Source congregations are two of four churches that receive financial support from the Church Planting program. We sense the importance of having solid churches for our staff members working overseas, and the goal of this program is to fill that need as well as provide a place for locals to see Christ’s teachings lived out. Church Planting covers costs like ministry trips and building expenses for these two churches in Haiti and the Hope Mennonite and Light Mennonite churches in Liberia.
