Widowed long ago, Gehn from Liberia is now about 75 years old. A year or two ago, she suffered a stroke and cannot walk without help. Gehn sleeps on a thin foam mat on the dirt floor, and she had only a thin piece of cotton cloth to cover her before she received a Christian Aid comforter. When the comforter was placed in her hands, a huge smile lit up her face. Though her speech is severely hindered from the stroke, Gehn managed to squeeze out a “thank you.”

If you wish to help ship comforters to Liberia and other countries, note Send-A-Comforter on the enclosed response coupon or sponsorship sheet. If you have a new comforter to donate, please ship it to our Indiana Clothing Center at Christian Aid Ministries, 660B S. Van Buren St., Shipshewana, IN 46565, or drop it off at any CAM location.
