Widowed long ago, Gehn from Liberia is now about 75 years old. A year or two ago, she suffered a stroke and cannot walk without help. Gehn sleeps on a thin foam mat on the dirt floor, and she had only a thin piece of cotton cloth to cover her before she received a Christian Aid comforter. When the comforter was placed in her hands, a huge smile lit up her face. Though her speech is severely hindered from the stroke, Gehn managed to squeeze out a “thank you.”

If you wish to help ship comforters to Liberia and other countries, note Send-A-Comforter on the enclosed response coupon or sponsorship sheet.
