In April, a series of earthquakes hit Kumamoto, Japan, killing 44 people and injuring more than 3,000 others. While the Japanese government has responded to the emergency needs of survivors, our contacts in Japan are deeply concerned about the needs that haven’t been met—the deep spiritual needs.
“People are living in a lot of fear,” one of our contacts said. “They wonder why this has happened and where the power is coming from. People are rethinking their lives.”
Our contacts want to show earthquake survivors the Hope they can cling to in the midst of their trials. To help them reach this goal, CAM is providing 10,000 Japanese Bibles and 10,000 copies of the tract, One Day Life Was Normal, in Japanese.
If you wish to help provide Christ-centered encouragement to earthquake victims in Japan, please choose from the options below.
