Each school day morning, twelve-year-old Dukas and his siblings leave their little house made of rock and cement and walk 15 minutes to the schoolhouse. The Bon Samaritain de Potino school in Haiti is supported by CAM, allowing Dukas and his siblings to attend even though their parents cannot afford the fees. Dukas’s father is a farmer and has a few animals, but his income is small and sometimes not enough to feed his family. Then, the only meal the children receive is the plate of food they get at school.

Dukas dreams of becoming an engineer. Because a CAM supporter is sponsoring Dukas, his dream may become reality someday!
