Rafael* was accustomed to working long hours in the fields to provide for his family. This all changed when he got a severe case of hepatitis. Sick for several months, Rafael was unable to earn his desperately needed income.
When Rafael received a cow from CAM, he was delighted. Not only would it bring an income, but it was also a dream come true. “All my life I dreamed of having a cow,” he said. Rafael plans to sell the cow’s offspring to help support his family.
