Confined, Middle East Ministries

No longer confined inside

Seven-year-old Kalila* was born with a mental and physical handicap. Since she couldn’t get around on her own, Kalila spent her days lying on the cold floor inside their house in the Middle East.

Thanks to generous supporters, Kalila now has her own wheelchair. Instead of being confined to the indoors, she loves to sit outside in her chair and enjoy the view of the Hebron hills south of Jerusalem. The wheelchair is also a huge blessing to Kalila’s mother because it frees her to care for her other children and relieves her of the cultural disgrace of carrying her daughter everywhere. For all these things, Kalila’s mother is so thankful.
