Juana is an 83-year-old widow in Nicaragua whose husband died 26 years ago. Her son, a mentally-ill daughter, and two grandchildren live with her. For the last two years, Juana’s son hasn’t been able to harvest a crop due to drought.

During this time of need, a monthly food parcel from CAM enables Juana and her family to survive. Their favorite item in the parcel is the canned chicken. Juana also receives $10 cash with her food parcel, which she uses to buy other necessities.

Each month, the Support-A-Widow program helps about 3,500 widows and their families. This program operates in Nicaragua, Liberia, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Egypt, Kenya, India, and the Middle East. If you would like to help lighten the load for a needy widow, please choose from the options below.
