Is it possible for us to be able to read and write and our children can’t? How tragic, that we know how to read and write, but our children don’t!” This was one Syrian mother’s anguished cry.

Over half of the Syrian refugee children in Lebanon are not attending school. Amira* was twelve years old and had never been to school. But now, through CAM’s Sponsor-A-Refugee-Child program, she is receiving a Christian education. Amira beams as she talks about her school and what she has learned there.
