Kostya from Ukraine learned valuable principles of saving money after he joined a SALT savings group. “My eyes opened wide when SALT came here,” he said. “I am very happy that God moved your hearts to help us understand many basic things.”

When Kostya sought the Lord’s wisdom for ways to expand his income without neglecting his family, he got the idea of using his woodcarving skills to earn an income. Carving wooden plaques is a lengthy process. It takes Kostya around twelve days to complete one piece. But with the encouragement and teaching he received through the SALT program, Kostya has a vision to make this business prosper. His goal is to work from home, and he dreams of someday having his children work alongside him. “I want our great God to be glorified through my work,” he said.
