SALT continues to develop and operate vocational classes in under-developed countries to help youth and adults learn practical skills to start businesses. Students learn skills such as sewing, welding, and auto mechanics. Many students can work their way out of poverty after utilizing the things they learned from the vocational classes.
SALT Vocational Training is operating in Bangladesh, Ghana, Nigeria, and Uganda. The young entrepreneurs use the teaching they receive to contribute to the needs of their communities and employ others.
Students enroll in SALT vocational classes to learn useful and practical skills such as sewing, welding, computer training, and auto mechanic work. Utilizing these skills helps them work their way out of poverty and contribute to the needs of their communities. As they participate in these classes they are exposed daily to Bible-based teaching. This sets them on a life-long course of establishing godly values in their businesses and places of employment.
