Amani’s* oldest son was killed and her second son has been missing for eleven years. This widow from poverty-stricken Yemen and her only daughter don’t have anyone to support them. They survive with the little food their neighbors share with them.

When CAM contacts offered a month’s supply of food, Amani said, “There is still goodness in people. . . . You saved us. In this war crisis, people think only about themselves, and we can’t afford to ask people for help. You were very generous to us. May God bless you.”
