Over 3 million children wake up each day trapped in modern-day slavery, according to Anti-Slavery International. Alone on the streets with no one to look after them, orphaned or abandoned children are taken through trickery or force by those wanting to profit from their vulnerability. Gangs and cartels use some of these children as child soldiers. Others, especially young girls, fall into the abusive hands of human trafficking rings.

CAM contacts in Mexico and South Asia work to rescue vulnerable children before they are taken by those who want to harm them. The children receive food, clothing, medical care, education, and spiritual and emotional support in safe, loving children’s homes.
