Over the years, pastors and other Christian workers in Vietnam, the former Soviet Union, and the Middle East have faced tremendous persecution. Some suffer resulting physical and mental disabilities, that make it difficult for them to earn a living.

The Christian Martyrs Fund supports such pastors and Christian workers with money for food, clothing, medical needs, and other necessities. In some cases, this program sponsors the widows and children of workers who were martyred for their faith. The program also provides special assistance to believers facing or fleeing persecution.
