On October 7, Hamas militants from Gaza attacked Israel, brutally killing Israeli troops and civilians alike. Israel has responded with devastating air strikes and a partial siege of Gaza. Thousands have been killed and injured in what has quickly become the most devastating war in the region since the Yom Kippur War 50 years ago.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has predicted a “long and difficult war.” We anticipate that the needs will be many. CAM staff remain in Israel to monitor the situation and provide food, bedding, and other aid to those suffering on both sides.
