Gunfire and shelling damaged many houses and buildings across Ukraine. Some are completely destroyed. Once the fighting has ceased in some areas, CAM assists in repairing homes to give Ukrainians secure shelter. In many cases, people who fled their hometowns during the violence return to find their houses severely damaged.

Every building project is different, but the goal in each is to fix the house to the point where it is livable again. Repairing the roof and replacing shattered windows come first. Depending on the homeowner’s age and physical condition and the number of residents, only the main rooms like the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom(s) may be fixed.

The average cost of a rebuilding project is $8,500. If you choose to give a donation to cover the full cost of a project, we will assign a specific project to you and send you pictures and information about those helped.
