When Ilda’s youngest daughter was born, her head was swollen from fluid on the brain. Doctors placed a shunt inside the baby’s brain to help it drain, but because of her condition, she gets sick easily.

Through Gifts-That-Grow, CAM’s clinic in Nicaragua provides Ilda with medicine she needs to help her baby recover from sickness and relieve her pain. Ilda also receives medicine for herself and her two-year-old daughter who is still unable to walk. In addition to the medicines, the clinic staff gave Ilda a Bible story book that we trust will point her and her children to Jesus, the ultimate healer.
