Sara was at home in her house trailer the evening of April 22, 2020, when a tornado approached. She rushed to find shelter in the bathroom, widely believed to be the safest place during a tornado.
Sara told a Disaster Response chaplain, “The Lord told me, Get out of this room! I didn’t immediately move because I thought I should be in the bathroom. He put his arm on my shoulder and said, Get out of this room, now! So I stepped into the living room, sat on the couch, and prayed as the storm passed through. After it passed, I . . . saw a large limb had come right down into my bathroom.”
Rapid Response volunteers cut the tree off Sara’s roof and took the limb out of her bathroom so they could patch the roof before it rained. Praise God for His miraculous rescue!
