Billboard Evangelism’s theme verse is: “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified . . .” (Acts 26:18)
How can you and I help point sinners to Jesus and turn them from darkness to light? What is the most effective way to strip away the enemy’s hold on the lives of unbelievers? How do we empower the ministry of Billboard Evangelism?
One of the most important ways you and I can ever help empower kingdom work is to spend time on our knees. Why? Because prayer is the waterwheel, the engine, the magnet, the fire, and the access to power behind every victory. Jesus Himself said, “Without me you can do nothing.”
Prayer connects the soul with God, the source of life and power. It allows that life and power to fill the soul and then overflow to influence the world for eternity.
If we are going to influence North America and point people to God, then we need to pray. We need to sacrifice time, sleep, money, resources, and rightful pleasures to pray and intercede for those still bound by the enemy. If hell’s power is to be stripped away and the world changed, then we need to spend time in effectual fervent prayer.
