“I don’t mean to question God, but I have asked for things but didn’t get them,” Kaleb* said after seeing a Gospel billboard in California. Our phone team member explained that we sometimes don’t get answers because of sin in our lives. Kaleb confessed, “Drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity are ruining my life.”
Our team member presented Bible principles that made Kaleb stop and ponder his soul’s condition. Then he prayed, “God, it’s weird that you allowed me to see this billboard today. I’m truly repentant. I only want to look to you for guidance.” Our phone team member prayed for Kaleb and sent him literature to help him grow in his new walk with Christ. What an opportunity to point to the One who hears those who come to Him in repentance!
