A call to serve your neighbors

Do you have interest in rebuilding for disaster victims in the U.S.? There are opportunities for volunteer work teams to serve at various Disaster Response projects across the country. If you or someone you know has a call to serve at any of these locations, please contact us at 330.893.4820. Volunteers will be scheduled for one week (5 days).

“You blessed us with your love and compassion.

You showed God’s love to our community.
I know God answers prayer.”

2021-2022 Disaster Response Services (DRS) rebuilding projects

Louisiana Hurricane Ida project:

Hurricane Ida hit Louisiana on August 30 as a category 4 storm, causing severe wind damage and some flooding. We tentatively plan to operate a base in the affected area, starting in January and going through March or April.

Louisiana Hurricane Laura project:

Hurricane Laura caused catastrophic damage in Louisiana in 2020. We plan to continue rebuilding damaged houses in the Lake Charles area from November 29, 2021, through March 25, 2022.

Gates, Oregon, fire project:

A raging fire blazed through Oregon in 2020, destroying numerous homes. We currently plan to have a base in Gates, Oregon, to rebuild houses from November 29, 2021, to April 23, 2022.

In addition to volunteers, we need funding to support cleanup and rebuilding projects throughout the U.S. Our projected funding need for 2021/2022 is $3.6 million. If you wish to help, your support will be a blessing!
