A lot has changed since the beginning of Christian Aid Ministries in 1981. But several things have remained the same—the grace and faithfulness of God and the love and generosity of you, our supporters!
It is a wonderful blessing and privilege to labor together with you to bring hope and help to the hungry, the sick, the homeless, and the lost. CAM is simply a channel and a servant of the church to bring physical and spiritual help to our suffering world. It is because of the tens of thousands of faithful supporters like you that we are able to help those in need.
When we stood at the threshold of 2018, we at CAM wondered what needs and opportunities would surface throughout the year. As usual, we were exposed to seemingly endless needs around the world. Some were ongoing, like the huge demand for in various countries. . Others were unexpected, such as Hurricane Michael’s devastation in Florida, a tsunami in Indonesia, flooding in India, new conflicts in the Middle East, and increased instability in Venezuela.
Without God’s blessing and your help, we would not have been able to respond to any of the many needs and opportunities that came to our attention. But because you care, millions of people in more than 100 countries were touched with the love of Christ in one way or another. To them, your support is an answer to prayer. On their behalf, we say THANK YOU for caring, sharing, praying, and being the hands and feet of Jesus in some of this world’s most difficult places. May God receive the honor and the glory. He alone is worthy!
