On the night of his mother’s burial, Isaac went outside after dark and thought he saw a cow. Instead, he came face to face with a wild African beast—a hippopotamus. The hippo’s rage resulted in multiple injuries.
Thankfully, Isaac escaped. But he faced a long recovery from a dislocated hip, a four-rib fracture, an injured spine, and multiple wounds, some around two inches deep.
Isaac endured an eight-month hospital stay and had no money for another surgery coming up. With supporters’ funds, CAM helped pay the hospital bill for him.
When emergencies like Isaac’s occur, poverty-stricken families and individuals often find themselves destitute. Project Good Samaritan reaches out to people with pressing needs in various countries, bringing hope and help to people in a critical time of need.
